Exotic Facts and Information:
Axis Deer tend to be 10-15% larger than whitetail deer. They lose their horns around the month that they were born. So we have Axis bucks in various stages of growth. Some in velvet, some without horns, and some hard horned. Axis can be hunted year round for this reason.
Fallow bucks generally follow a pattern similar to a whitetail deer. Losing their horns in spring and then growing them during the summer months and will be hard horned during the fall and winter months.
Blackbucks do not lose their horns at all. They continue to grow and add spirals to their horns. Blackbuck can also be hunted year round. We have a lot of little ones as the Does produce offspring every six months. 
Scimitar Horned Oryx keep their horns year round also, adding to the length as they grow. They are a fairly large animal in stature like a cow. They are white with a swatch of tan/brown on their necks.
